The Robinson Flask Sampler is used for obtaining a running sample and/or collecting samples at intermediate levels of various types of storage tanks. The sampler is made with a solid brass weight at the bottom of the flask to help pull the sampler down into the tank when empty. This model uses two lowering ropes or chains, one for lowering/raising the sampler and a second for releasing the cork to begin sample collection. Samplers with ¾-inch wide and 1½-inch wide neck openings are available. This sampler follows ASTM D4057 testing standards.
